Charity through Art Foundation is a nonprofit organization incorporated in Texas in July 2008.  As the name implies, the primary goal of the organization is to raise money for charitable purposes by organizing art events such as dance and music concerts.  There are many nonprofit arts organizations that raise money for worthy humanitarian causes.  CHAART joins these respectable organizations in further providing for those who need help, in the United States and around the world.  The needs of humanity – for food, shelter, education, health -- are so great that there are not enough organizations that can deal with the enormity of the problem.

However, CHAART distinguishes itself from other organizations in many ways.  CHAART mission is broad and ambitious.  As the logo and tag line indicate, the mission is to bring donors and charities together using art as the facilitating medium.  The goal is to increase the flow of monetary contributions from the donors to the charities.  

CHAART approach to achieving this goal is also unique.  CHAART treats each potential donor as a customer. It invites them to art events that especially emphasize cultural diversity. The expenses for the events are borne by CHAART through its sponsor channels. CHAART educates the donors, promotes selected human service charity organizations, and requests a donation for attending the art event. The donors can choose which human service charity organization they wish to donate. All donations (barring minimal transaction costs, if applicable) go to the charities. CHAART maintains and nurtures the relationship with its donors though gifts, coupons and other creative offers.
